RICHMOND, VA—Estes received several distinguished awards in claims, loss prevention, and safety from the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the largest national trade association for the trucking industry. The recognitions include Estes’ first ever Excellence in Claims and Loss Prevention Award, along with six safety awards.
The ATA’s Excellence in Claims and Loss Prevention Award recognizes truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers for achieving excellent results in claims management, loss prevention, and damage control. This award is the trucking industry’s only national accolade of its kind.

Estes also received six safety awards at the 2026 Safety, Security, and Human Resources National Conference for its performance in the ATA’s National Truck Safety Contest, which assesses driver accident rates, and the ATA’s National Industrial Safety Contest, which evaluates employee injury rates.

- First place – Truck Safety Contest – LTL – Local Division (10-100 million miles)
- Second place – Industrial Safety Contest – LTL Division (1,001-5,000 employees)
